Thornlands, Cleveland and mainland Redlands coverage
We assess enquiries in Thornlands, Cleveland, Capalaba, Birkdale, Wellington Point, Victoria Point and Redland Bay. Tell us the actual event location rather than just “Redlands”, together with the countdown time and supplier access window. Delivery and availability are confirmed for the individual booking.
For a private garden or hired venue, send photographs of the planned reveal position, ground surface and equipment access. If the location is on an island, mention that at the start: ferry travel, access and timing need a separate assessment, and are not covered by a mainland assumption.
Match the effect to the venue
On a small screen, scroll sideways to compare.
| Option | Discuss before booking | Quote details to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Outdoor powder reveal | Permission for the effect, weather, surfaces, guest positions and cleanup | Selected equipment, operation, delivery and pack down |
| Confetti reveal | Whether the venue allows it, including any indoor restrictions | Effect, materials and agreed cleanup responsibilities |
| Backdrop and balloon styling | Panel position, balloon coverage, access and collection | Additional items, dimensions, wording and supplier charges |
The table describes options to assess, not venue approvals. We confirm which effect is suitable and available before the booking is finalised. A styled photo area is an additional service rather than an automatic inclusion in the TNT hire price.
Check Redland Council bookings and supplier access
Redland City Council publishes booking guidance for parties and business-operated entertainment in parks, reserves and beaches. A booking does not guarantee exclusive use. The Council also lists temporary park-access requirements where vehicle access is needed. Read the current park, reserve and beach booking guidance and confirm requirements for your activity before booking suppliers.
A waterfront setting still needs permission for the chosen effect, a workable access route and agreed cleanup. For a community hall or other hired venue, ask its manager about the actual equipment and effect rather than assuming an indoor or outdoor label is enough.
Compare the complete delivered quote
TNT reveal hire starts from $680 AUD. Delivery is additional; the written quote confirms the equipment, effect, setup, operation and pack down. Share any access restrictions, power requirements and the time equipment must be removed.
Styling extras can include backdrops, balloon garlands, BABY letters or boxes, furniture and props. Send a reference image and confirm each item in the quote. Extra effects and any generator or supplier transport are included only when agreed. See the current starting prices.
Plan the surprise and the backup
Choose a trusted person to coordinate the colour privately with Cove if you want to keep it a surprise. Agree the contact method, reveal time and photography timing before the day. Keep guest-facing messages separate from the colour information.
Discuss the weather backup, surfaces, guest positions and cleanup before confirming. Cove staff operate the equipment under the hire terms; the event organiser handles the necessary venue permissions. A change of effect or location must still be assessed for suitability.
Redlands gender reveal questions
Where can I have a gender reveal in the Redlands?
Start with a suitable private property or hired venue that permits your chosen effect. For Council land, check the booking and access requirements with Council. Cove supplies the reveal setup; your enquiry does not reserve a venue.
Do balloons and backdrops come with the base price?
No. TNT hire starts from $680 AUD plus delivery. Styling is separately quoted, including the items, sizes, coverage and any supplier delivery or collection.
Can a reveal happen indoors?
It depends on the venue and chosen effect. Ask the manager and Cove about permission, space, alarms, surfaces and cleanup before committing to an indoor setup.
How do I get an accurate delivery quote?
Send the date, suburb, reveal time and venue access windows. Mention ferry travel or restricted access at the start. Use the reveal planning checklist for the remaining details.
See Logan reveal planning for that area, or return to the main TNT reveal hire service for broader package information.
