Gender Reveal Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before booking your gender reveal package.
Securing your gender reveal date requires a deposit payment to lock in your chosen time slot and equipment allocation. The remaining balance for your package MUST be paid in full strictly the day before the event takes place.
Having the balance finalized prior to arrival ensures our team can focus entirely on delivering a high quality gender reveal setup on site without any payment delays or distractions on your special day.
We monitor local forecasts closely in the days leading up to your gender reveal across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Gold Coast. If weather conditions turn unfavorable, we work with you on a backup plan.
Bookings are fully transferable to a new date if extreme weather prevents the gender reveal from going ahead safely. Depending on the venue and conditions, we can also pivot your explosive triggers or backdrops to an undercover area or switch to indoor friendly confetti options.
While we acknowledge and commit that we make the gender reveal setup area and equipment operation as safe as physically possible, all explosive triggers, detonators, smoke effects, and cold spark machines carry inherent event risks and are operated exclusively by trained Cove Events staff to maintain strict safety protocols.
For everyone's protection, guests, family members, and pets must remain behind designated safety lines during the active reveal sequence.
Clients and event organizers are entirely responsible for securing all necessary council permits, public space approvals, and venue permissions if the gender reveal is hosted in a public space, park, beach, or wharf. Cove Events holds no liability for council fines, shutdowns, or permissions.
Furthermore, all noise complaints, sound level restrictions, and venue compliance issues are strictly the responsibility of the event organizer. Clients are also responsible for ensuring clear vehicle access to the setup location. If standard power access is not available on site, please let us know beforehand so our team can bring generators and appropriate cabling to power the production.
Clients assume full financial responsibility for any loss, theft, or deliberate damage to rental items—including backdrops, neon signs, audio gear, and decorative props—caused by guests, attendees, or venue staff during the hire period.
Any reckless behavior near fragile items or electronic equipment will result in repair or replacement charges billed directly to the event organizer.
Cove Events shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect financial loss, damages, or disappointments arising from unexpected equipment failures, power outages originating from the venue, or major disruptions beyond our reasonable control.
Our maximum liability under any circumstance is strictly limited to a refund of the monies paid for the specific affected services.
