Privacy and enquiry information
The Cove Events enquiry forms ask for contact details and event information so we can respond to a quote request. Depending on the form, this includes your name, email, telephone number, event date, location and the details you choose to provide. Please send only information relevant to your event and avoid sensitive personal information.
We also include campaign labels, the referring website hostname, landing-page path and source-recording time with enquiries to understand how visitors find us. These labels are stored for the current browser session. We do not include full referring URLs or advertising click identifiers in the enquiry source fields.
Our forms submit securely to Cove Events on Vercel. We use Resend to send enquiry notifications to our inbox, and Upstash to retain a private backup for up to 90 days. These providers process the contact and event information you submit. We use a one way, keyed hash of the request IP address for temporary spam limits rather than storing the raw address with your enquiry. The website is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure processes web requests.
We use enquiry details to communicate with you about your requested event and quote. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.
Golf hire enquiries: We may share the contact and event details you submit with an independent golf hire operator so they can assess your event and respond with availability and a quote. We will identify the proposed operator before forwarding your enquiry. Any booking provider and their terms are confirmed before you commit. You can ask us not to forward your details by contacting Cove at the email below. Once information has been shared, the operator’s own privacy policy applies to their handling of it.
External links, including social media and provider pages, are governed by those services’ own policies.
For a question about information you have sent to Cove Events, or a request to access, correct or delete enquiry details, email liambengibo@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify your enquiry, but do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive details.
Advertising measurement
We use the Meta pixel to measure website visits and successful quote submissions and assess our Facebook and Instagram advertising. This sends page URLs, referral information, browser and device information and cookie identifiers to Meta. Our website code does not send the name, email, telephone number, address or message entered in an enquiry form to the pixel. Automatic advanced matching and automatic button-event collection are disabled. Meta handles measurement information under its privacy policy. You can manage advertising preferences and cookie controls through Meta and your browser; browser blocking may prevent measurement.
