IS THERE A BOND?
Yes, we require a $100 security bond. This is fully refunded upon collection, provided the machine and equipment are undamaged and collected in the same condition they were delivered.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
To ensure the machine runs smoothly, we need the following:
- Sturdy Table: The machine weighs approx 50kg when full. No folding plastic trestle tables or glass tops.
- Power: A standard power point. We cannot use power boards with other appliances as the machine draws significant power.
- Shade: The machine must be out of direct sunlight to freeze properly.
DO YOU SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL?
No. Due to liquor licensing laws, we cannot sell or supply alcohol. We provide the machine and the cocktail fruit mix base. You simply add your own alcohol (Vodka, Rum, Tequila etc.) once we have set it up!
Standard ratio: 700ml - 1L of alcohol per bowl.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FREEZE?
The machine generally takes 1.5 to 2 hours to freeze completely. We always aim to deliver and set up well before your party starts so your drinks are ice-cold when guests arrive.
CAN I HAVE IT OUTDOORS?
Yes, but it must be under cover (like a patio or marquee). The machine is electrical and cannot get wet. It also struggles to freeze if placed in direct sunlight on a hot day.
